I’ve been eyeing the Epiphanie camera bags for quite a while now. You can only imagine how excited I was when I found out I had won one in an online giveaway! I was practically jumping up and down (ok, I WAS jumping up and down). After months of looking at them online, I was finally going to get my own!
My search for a new camera bag started because the zipper broke on the Canon backpack I was using. When I came across the Epiphanie bags, I was so excited because I could actually consolidate my purse and my camera bag into one bag! I love the fact that I no longer have to lug both a camera bag and a purse around! Not only are Epiphanie bags perfect for the professional photographer, but they’re also great for a “mamarazzi” or “sports mom” on the go! (There’s lots of male friendly styles too.) It was hard to pick one, but I finally settled on the Ginger in the caramel color. I love all the beautiful colors that Epiphanie offers, but I thought I would get the most use out of a neutral color.
The fabric on the Epiphanie bags, while man-made, feels luxurious, and the contrasting stitching really makes the bag stand out! Epiphanie includes plenty of velcro dividers so you can set up the inside of your bag the way that works best for you! While I am currently not using all of them, it’s really easy to reconfigure! Right now in the main area of the bag, I’ve got my camera with an attached lens, and three other lenses, including my 100-400mm that I use for shooting soccer. The velcro panels can even be rearranged to accommodate your iPad or another tablet.
There are also lots of pockets…4 on the outside and 1 on the inside…definitely enough space to fit everything I need! In the large outside pocket, I have my wallet, phone and Card Cubby (which I keep all my rewards cards / gift cards / retail store coupons in), plus a notebook I keep with me for note taking on the fly; in one side pocket I have my card reader, an extra memory card, and a lens cleaning cloth, in the other, my charger and an extra battery; and in the back outside pocket I have business cards and pens. In the inside pocket, I have a lip gloss, gum and Advil. I could definitely fit more in each of these pockets if I needed to!
Some other little details I really liked were the attached camera charm…very cute! And it was fun to open up the pockets and find these quote cards…I am so a quote person!! Nice touch!
So far my camera bag has been with me to two ski weekends and several soccer games, as well as around town! Next week it’ll be headed to a conference! I’m so thrilled with my Ginger…it’s versatile, stylish, and it really holds a lot of stuff! It truly is amazing how much you can get in there!
How would you like to win one?! I’m very excited to let you know that we’ll be giving away an Epiphanie camera bag this week, courtesy of our friends at Epiphanie!!
