Holiday Reflections {Ladies Only Blog Share}

Sharing is caring!

Welcome back to our bi-weekly Ladies Only Blog Share! With Christmas right around the corner, many of us are feeling overwhelmed. I know I am. I didn’t get everything done I wanted to, I never sent out cards this year, and I haven’t finished shopping. But in the scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter. In the end, the holidays are about quality time with family and friends, enjoying the blessings of life. Take a little time to breathe and reflect. Link up your holiday posts, a favorite post from the past that you think people will find helpful in some way, or share how you are reflecting on the year. Here’s to a wonderful holiday season and a fabulous 2014!

Holiday Ladies Only Blog Share

Before we get started, I want to share with you a couple posts I came across this week that touched my heart, and I think will touch yours.

Anna from Random Handprints guest posted Grief Stories ~ Sundays with Leonard over at Kissing the Frog. This is a beautiful story of a special friendship and how we truly do make an impact in each other’s lives. If you take the time to read this, I can promise you that you will not be sorry!

The other powerful post that I came across this week was also a guest post. Lizzi at Considerings shared Our Land – Ain’t that a Shame over at Finding Ninee. This post really made me stop and think. How many times do we joke at the expense of another or judge someone? This might make you think twice the next time you feel tempted. Or at least make you consider your motivations. This one is definitely a must-read!

It did feel very hectic this year. I'm not done with everything but I feel like it will have to do! I am going to just enjoy my family time!

Kim,

It's always a comfort to know there are others who haven't got their "Martha Stewart" Christmas all set up and ready. :-) Looking forward to reading great posts. Thanks for hosting!

Oh my goodness, it is so far from a "Martha Stewart" Christmas over here, it's not even funny. I can't imagine the stress of trying to pull something together like that! I'm just going to enjoy my family time! Merry Christmas Kim!

I think taking a breather is important right about now. I'm trying not to stress out but I find myself wondering if I'm as prepared as I think. But, you are right that what it comes down to is spending time with family and other people that you love!

I'm definitely not prepared, but I am just going to enjoy my family time because that is truly what it is all about! Merry Christmas to you and your family Jen!
