Valentine’s Day Edition at #FoodieFriDIY no 32

Sharing is caring!

Welcome back to #FoodieFriDIY!  We like to think this is one of the best places to share your favorite recipes and DIY projects, as well as find new ones to try! Last week was our biggest week yet, with 485 linkups! Will you help us get to 500 by telling your friends about us?!

We have a Group Board for our participants, and we would love for you to join us! You are welcome to pin anything you share with us at the party, as well as up to 10 posts a day. Your pins do need to be food or DIY related though (crafts, tutorials, and organizing is fine).  The rules are listed on the board.

Follow A Dish of Daily Life / Michelle Nahom’s board Foodie Fridays and DIY on Pinterest.

If you’d like to be added, please follow the board above, as well as all of the hosts of this party (see below). Then send me an email at [email protected] with Requesting Invite – Foodie Fridays and DIY Group Board in the subject line.

We also now have a Facebook Community, which is growing. This is a place you can promote your recipes and projects, and we’re offering multiple boosting threads a week. If you are interested in joining us, please request an invite here:  Foodie Fridays and DIY Boost Group

FREE PROMOTION FOR YOU –> If you stop by my Facebook page with one of your recipes or DIY projects that you linked up at the party, I will guarantee a share of that link on some form of social media.

My features and faves will get even more special attention with even more shout outs and shares to some of my favorite group boards as well!

[Tweet “#FdBloggers and DIYers, come party with us at #FoodieFriDIY! @adishofdailylife loves to SHARE!”]

I had a lot of favorites this week…a lot more than I have featured! It was so hard to choose. But in the end I decided to go with a Valentine’s Day theme, so if you want to see my other favorites just head on over to our Features and Faves Pinterest board. I think you are going to LOVE what you see there! Please follow the board as well…after all, it is the place we share our favorite posts that you link up! You may very well find yourself on it!

I’m thinking for a perfect start to Valentine’s Day, someone would make me these Phyllo Dough Toaster Pastries from Project Pastry Love for breakfast.

For a little pampering, how about these homemade bath salts from DIY Inspired? Or this DIY Red Wine Facial Mask from Hairspray and Highheels?

I also loved the cute Valentine’s Day Tackle Box from Krystal’s Kitsch! So creative!

I don’t love to go out on Valentine’s Day…I’d much rather have a delicious dinner in, like this Apricot and Ginger Glazed Chicken from What a Girl Eats!

Dessert was hard to decide on…would you pick this stunning Rose Apple Tart from Tikkido or these yummy looking Mini Cherry Cheesecake Sugar Cookie Cups from Tried and Tasty?

And lastly, if you’ve got your “craft” on, you might want to try Linkoture’s tutorial on how to make heart post earrings

Don’t forget to show our features some love! If you’d like to pin an individual recipe or DIY project, please visit the blog where it lives and pin it from there!

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook. However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. If you’d like to include a link back on the individual post you linked up, we’d love it, but again, there is no requirement to do so. We are working on a new button if you’d like to put that on your sidebar or link party page. Stay tuned.

And now for the party!
