#FoodieFriDIY no 80: Superbowl Snacks

Sharing is caring!

Happy Friday! I guess it’s official…I’m on a game day food kick! With the Superbowl coming up though, I’m sure we all can use some new recipe ideas for the big game.

I’m pretty excited the Denver Broncos are going to the Superbowl. I grew up in Colorado and also went to college there. So even though I’ve been living on the East Coast for the past 24 years, I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Broncos. I was a big John Elway fan back in the day, and I’m glad to see Payton Manning have a chance for another ring. I have to say though, it’s a lot of fun to watch Cam Newton play. I’m hoping for a good game. With the Broncos on top, of course. 🙂

Before I share more yummy game day recipes with you, I want to share a couple of my own that maybe you’ll want to add to the menu as well…

These Tangy Sesame Wings are my go-to wing recipe and a frequent party request.

These Tangy Sesame Chicken Wings, with their Asian flair, are my go-to game day and party appetizer recipe! Everyone always raves about them, and they disappear quickly! YOU HAVE TO TRY THESE!

And if you’re looking for something more substantial, my White Bean Chicken Chili is also a favorite around here!

White Bean Chicken Chili is a healthy and delicious easy weeknight meal, but it's also perfect for game day. Guaranteed to be a hit with kids and adults alike!

And now for my features…

All of my features will be pinned to several group boards, yummed, stumbled, AND shared on my Facebook page. I’d love it if you’d stop by and visit my page over the next couple of days and show these features some love. Feel free to comment as your page, and I will be sure to stop by yours as well. Liking, commenting and sharing is the best way to help our engagement on Facebook…let’s help each other!#FoodieFriDIY no 80

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my Facebook page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

[Tweet “Increase your traffic, come party at #FoodieFriDIY! @dishofdailylife loves to SHARE!”]

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up…I will make sure to show your post some love on some form of social media! Please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it.

Let’s get this party started!

Michelle, enjoy the game! I know Denver fans are pretty hardcore -- met a woman from there several years ago who had been foolish enough to schedule her wedding on game day and ... well ... you can imagine the rest! :D
