#FoodieFriDIY no 82: Valentine’s Day Favorites

Sharing is caring!

If you missed joining us last week, you’ll notice that we’ve added Debra from Bowl Me Over as a party host. Please welcome her and check out her website…I have a feeling you will love her recipes!

We had quite the exciting weekend last weekend. On Saturday our high school had their conference championships, and my daughter came away with a win in the mile and was runner up in the 1000…exciting races! Both the winner and my daughter beat the conference record in the 1000, and less than a second separated them. This weekend we have the state championships, so it’ll be fun to watch our young athletes again this weekend.

Then on Sunday, we were excited to watch the Denver Broncos win the Superbowl! I grew up in Colorado and went to school there as well, so even though I live in Connecticut now, I still consider them my home team.  We brought these meatballs to the party, and they were a hit!  Put them on your menu for March Madness…it’ll be here before you know it!

And now of course, we’re getting ready for Valentine’s Day! I want to share this Berry Smoothie Bowl that Creative Team member Christine from Midlife Croissant shared with us the other day. What a delicious — and healthy — treat for your loved ones! If you have a moment, stop in and check it out!

Start your day off right with this dairy free berry smoothie bowl. It's naturally sweet, packed with protein and infused with hibiscus tea.

And now for my features! Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, I just couldn’t resist these wonderful treats!

All of my features will be pinned to several group boards, yummed, stumbled, AND shared on my Facebook page. I’d love it if you’d stop by and visit my page over the next couple of days and show these features some love. Feel free to comment as your page, and I will be sure to stop by yours as well. Liking, commenting and sharing is the best way to help our engagement on Facebook…let’s help each other!

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my Facebook page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

[Tweet “Increase your traffic, come party at #FoodieFriDIY! @dishofdailylife loves to SHARE!”]

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up…I will make sure to show your post some love on some form of social media! Please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it.

Let’s get this party started!
