Happy New Year!

We’re back after a couple weeks off for the holidays. I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday break!

We were away in Colorado over Christmas visiting family and skiing. I can’t ski anymore, but that’s a long story, so we will save it for another day. But we had a great time! As our party goes live, I will be in Mexico with my college roommates…one of them has a special birthday, and we are celebrating with a trip. I won’t  be doing any sharing until I get back on Monday night (I am not bringing a computer), but please know I haven’t forgotten you! If you stop by my Facebook page to leave a link to the recipe you are sharing here, please visit my page a little too. I have things scheduled for you all, but I’m hoping it doesn’t get too lonely over there!

And now…ON TO MY FEATURES!

All of these wonderful features will be pinned to several group boards, yummed, stumbled, AND shared on my Facebook page. I love to support you as much as you can! Of course I also do a lot of sharing with many of your other links as well…not just my features, but I do try to give my features a lot of extra love.

As you all know, I love easy recipes. Anything that I can get on the table past AND tastes good is right up my alley. Guess what I am sharing this week?!

Sicilian Style Spaghetti from Sidewalk Shoes

Chicken Chile Corn Chowder from Sumptous Spoonfuls

One Pot Cajun Chicken Pasta from Spoonful of Flavor

Potato Gnocchi with Mushrooms and Feta from Cooktoria

New Zealand Mussels with Quinoa Spaghetti and Roasted Squash from Simply Fresh Dinners

If you would like to pin any of these wonderful posts (which I hope you do!), please visit the post itself and pin it from there!

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my Facebook page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

[Tweet “Increase your traffic, come party at #FoodieFriDIY! @dishofdailylife loves to SHARE!”]

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up…I will make sure to show your post some love on some form of social media! Please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it.

Let’s get this party started!

Hi Michelle! Thank you for featuring my recipe this week and hosting this awesome link party!

So far my favorite recipes this week are: 127 (Candied Pecans), 179 (Molasses Glazed Ham) and 182 (Spiralized Vegetable Noodle Bowls).

I don't ski too, because I torn my ACL two years ago, but I am going on a skiing trip to Massachusetts tomorrow. I'll be soaking in the hot tub most of the time. :-)
