What ingredients are in Reuben Sliders?

  • Slider Rolls: the perfect base for your sliders; for a sweet twist try it on Hawaiian Rolls!
  • Slices of Swiss Cheese: Adds gooey, melty goodness to each bite.
  • Corned Beef: Tender and flavorful, it’s the star ingredient of these sliders.
  • Sauerkraut: Adds a tangy crunch that complements the other flavors.
  • Butter: Brushed on top of the rolls for a golden, buttery finish.
  • Mayonnaise: Forms the creamy base of the Russian dressing.
  • Sriracha Ketchup: Adds a spicy kick to the dressing for this reuben slider recipe.
  • Pickles: Provide a tangy crunch and hint of acidity.
  • Yellow Onion: Grated for a subtle onion flavor.
  • Lemon Juice: Adds brightness and freshness to the dressing.
  • Paprika: Adds a touch of smoky flavor to the dressing.
  • Parchment Paper: For lining the baking tray.
  • Tin Foil: Used to cover the sliders while baking.

Pro Tip: Sauerkraut can be an acquired taste. If you have anti-kraut diners in your house, take the sauerkraut, rinse it to get some of the fermented taste off and pat it dry before putting in the little sandwiches. That extra step is a great way to slowly acclimate them to the sauerkraut flavor.

How to Make Reuben Sliders:

  1. Mix the homemade Russian Dressing recipe in a small bowl.
  2. Assemble sliders with layers of cheese, corned beef, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing.

  4. Brush with melted butter and cover with foil.

Pro Tips:

Can Reuben Sliders Last Long?

This recipe for Corned Beef Sliders never lasts long at my house!

For the best taste and texture you want to eat them immediately after baking.

However, leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Can You Freeze Reuben Sliders?

Yes you can freeze this reuben sliders recipe!

Assemble the sliders in a freezer safe baking container.

Brush with melted butter and use plastic wrap over the top and then put on the lid.

If you want to put it in a bag or another layer of plastic wrap around the container that will not hurt.

When you are ready to enjoy, bake straight from frozen to avoid soggy bottoms of the rolls.

Just remember to remove all the plastic wrap before baking!

What are the best slider rolls for Reuben Sliders?

The best slider rolls for Reuben Sliders are your favorite ones.

I like rye bread in slider form, but that is hard to come by.

You could use regular dinner rolls or cheese sliders.

But when you use sweet hawaiian rolls to make King’s Hawaiian Reuben sliders, you make a lot of people happy.

When the butter mixture cooks on the tops of the rolls to give you a golden brown sheen with the perfect Reuben flavors in the middle, it is a perfect match.

Are Reuben Sliders Healthy?

Reuben Sliders are not really healthy, but they can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet when eaten in moderation.

Sauerkraut has a lot of nutritional benefits, and swiss cheese is a lower calorie cheese.

So while it isn’t healthy, it isn’t a terrible choice either.

Choose leaner cuts of corned beef and whole grain slider rolls for a healthier option.

Was wondering what type of pickles you use in the dressing, sweet or dill? Sorry, I have never had Russian dressing before.

I don't have sriracha ketchup - how much sriracha would you add to regular ketchup? I have ordered Reubens at every restaurant in Boise since nobody else loves sauerkraut! This sounds great...

I just chopped up dill pickles when I made my sauce! :) I might try it with sweet though too, now that you mentioned that.
