Creating Custom Cards with Cardstore.com

Sharing is caring!

Disclosure: I did receive a free card credit from Cardstore.com to try out their service. However, all opinions regarding Cardstore.com are my own. Additionally, I have included another way to save in my post using Ebates. Please note the Ebates link is an affiliate link. Should you decide to join Ebates, I will receive a small commission if you become a qualified referral. Your savings on Ebates do not change as a result of you signing up via my referral link. Ebates is a service I have used since 2001.

It’s getting to be that time of year. You know, that time of year when we all send out holiday cards. I love getting those great custom photo cards from family and friends, but to be honest, I struggle with getting a good picture of my own kids. It was so much easier to take my holiday card picture when the kids were younger, partly due to the fact that it’s hard to get them all in one place at the same time during the daylight hours because of their crazy schedules, and partly because one of my kids really does not like to have his picture taken. So at this point I haven’t even started thinking about the holiday card yet! But I don’t like my holiday card to look like everyone else’s, and I do like to have unique thank you’s as well. If you feel the same way about your holiday cards, you’ll want to check out Cardstore.com.

Creating Custom Cards with Cardstore.com

When Cardstore.com contacted me about giving their cards a try, I was intrigued. I am constantly trying out new photo card and photo gift sites, but I had never heard of them. And the timing couldn’t have been better!

When they contacted me, my daughter was nearing the end of her high school soccer season. The girls had a great season. They went all the way to the final of their conference championship! Although they lost in overtime, it was a great game, and they gave it their all. It was a game to be proud of! In states, they also did well, ending their run in the quarterfinals. I knew the team mom had already put together an end of the season gift, but I thought a custom thank you card for all the coaches would be a nice touch…and she agreed.

There are a lot of options available on Cardstore.com, but I chose the hand lettered thanks overlay. The card itself was very easy to make. You simply choose your card style, upload your picture, and add it to your card. You have several options for the inside as well, including leaving it blank, adding text, or text with pictures. I chose to include another picture inside along with the text, as I wanted to include both the varsity and junior varsity team pictures.

When you’ve finalized your card, you have the option of shipping it to yourself, or having Cardstore.com ship it directly to your recipient. You can take care of your entire holiday card mailing this way! Since we are using it with our end of the season gift, I had the cards shipped to me…and they were here within just a few days!  They also have a cool feature called Future Send, where you can schedule all of your cards to go out when you need them, up to a year in advance!

Don’t forget to check their current promotions before placing your order! They always seem to have a deal going on. Another money saving tip…if you sign up for Ebates, you will also get a percentage back on your order as well (currently 7.5%)!

If you’re looking for a unique holiday cards or a fun way to say thank you, definitely check out Cardstore.com. They have a huge selection of designs to choose from and with features like Mail For Me and Future Send, Cardstore.com has you covered!

Now that's a nice picture. I am definitely gonna check out cardstore.com. I've been using another site for years. They have great gifts and photo everything, but their card templates are my least favorite. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks Michelle. It looks like a cool site. I may have to give them a try this Christmas. I still haven't thought about my card yet, but I need to get started soon. Last year I had a professional photo done so it was a lot easier. I signed up for ebates a long time ago, but haven't gotten in the habit of using it. I always forget about it, but I have a friend who has earned quite a bit of money from using their site.
