#FoodieFriDIY no 106: Summer Salads

Sharing is caring!

Yay for Friday! Our weekend is packed…an 8 mile road race (which I am ill prepared to run) and our annual summer post race BBQ. I’m looking forward to seeing people we haven’t seen in a while…not so much looking forward to running a race I haven’t trained for. But…it’s a tradition, and I’ve run it almost every year since I moved here over 20 years ago. I even ran it when I was pregnant. So…I’m running, and that’s that.

I’ve been in a salad mode lately, so it’s not surprising that this week, salads are what caught my eye! Check out these delicious (and healthy!) features…you won’t be sorry!

SUMMER SALADS

#FoodieFriDIY no 106 Summer Salads

From top to bottom, left to right:

Carolina Caviar from The Kitchen is my Playground

Southwestern Grilled Sweet Potato Salad from With Salt and Wit

Easy Summer Salad with Blueberries from Family Food on the Table

Honey Lime Fruit Salad from The Kolb Corner

Black Beans, Feta, Basil, Red Onion, and Tomato Salad from Analida’s Ethnic Spoon

Couscous Salad with Dates, Nuts and Apricots, also from Analida’s Ethnic Spoon

If you would like to pin any of these, please visit the post itself and pin it from there as that is where the recipe lives!

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up. I will try my best to show your post some extra love…please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it!

Let’s get this party started!

What an outrageous array of goodness here, Michelle. It's an embarrassment of riches, a compilation that would make Oprah blush. I just chose a recipe that includes butternut squash, bacon and frying. See you in Nirvana.
