A cat that doesn’t mind water?
This is a regular occurrence at our house. For some reason, this particular cat likes to sit in the sink with water pouring on top of her. She licks it off, but usually gets fairly wet in the process! Her sister jumped in the pool by accident a couple years ago and wasn’t all that bothered by it. She simply paddled to the steps and got out.
Does anyone else out there have cats that don’t mind water?

My cat hates water. We give her a bath occasionally and she acts like we're torturing her. She would NEVER do what your cat is doing. NEVER.

Before this, I have never had cats that like water. Now 3 out of the 4 do...bizarre! I think your cat is more the norm, but I am hearing a lot of funny stories from this!

Before this, I have never had a cat that liked water. But I've seen a lot of funny stories since posting this, esp the one about the cat that swims with a life jacket!

WOW!! My cat HATES water. You are risking your own life if you try to get her wet. Not an exaggeration!! My only weird cat story is that my cat comes when you call her name like a dog. (But she's the only cat I've had. Maybe that's more common than not) --Lisa
