Ladies Only Blog Share

Welcome back to our Ladies Only Blog Share! We decided to go with the theme “Celebrating the Little Things in Life” this time around. In our case, we are celebrating something really exciting! As you are probably well aware at this point, the four regular hosts of this link party recently launched a book, The Mother of All Meltdowns. This project was spearheaded by Crystal from Mommifried. I can’t say enough about her…we were very lucky to have her at the helm! If you haven’t picked up a copy of our book yet, you should! (Ok, so this is a little shameless self promotion!) You’ll laugh at times, and at others, you’ll feel a pull at your heartstrings. If you read my excerpt in one of my recent posts, you know which kind mine was. As moms, we all have our moments…but it’s nice to know we’re not alone!

We’d love it if you would follow The Mother of All Meltdowns on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. We also have a website as well, with information about our contributing authors, reviews and a blog with even more of those “mom moments!” If you didn’t catch my post on The Meltdown that Wasn’t, a story about the mother of all pranks that my youngest son and his friend pulled on their older brothers, and you’re looking for a good laugh, come on over and visit me there!

We also decided it was only fitting that we give one of our books away here at the Ladies Only Blog Share! Before you link up, enter for a chance to win! Not only is this a great read, it’s also a great present for any mom or mom-to-be! Don’t forget you can tweet every day for extra entries! Good luck!

Before we get going, I’d like to give a shout out to some of my very favorite posts this week!

I loved Kristen from Four Hens and a Rooster’s no nonsense approach to parenting in 7 Simple Rules for Living in our House! I know Kristen is a LOBS host but this was truly one of my favorite posts from this week!

I featured Eli from Coach Daddy last week…and he hit another home run this week with his post Sometimes It’s Back to the Drawing Board – Even for the Coach. My favorite quote? This is youth soccer, after all. Not life or death.

For those of you working with, or wanting to work with brands, I think you’ll find Thinking Outside the Sandbox’s post 5 Creative Disclosure Statements for a Sponsored Post will come in handy! There are all sorts of blogging and social media tips on this blog! It is one of my new favorites!

Allie from Vita Train 4 Life was cracking me up with her gymnastics tales in Any Given Race Day. I’m not going to give it away; you have to go read it!

If you’re looking for some new recipes, check out Anyonita Nibbles! This week I came across her recipe for Coriander Mesquite Barbeque Chicken with Roasted Fries and Bacon Aioli! I cannot wait to try this! And I have a feeling that Bacon Aioli is going to become a staple around here!

I know I speak for everyone when I say we would all love  to connect with you outside of our LOBS Link Party as well…Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest, Instagram…anywhere and everywhere! If you follow me, you probably know I am addicted to Twitter, but Pinterest has become my biggest source of traffic to my blog! And I’m quickly becoming infatuated with Google + as well! You can find my buttons at the top of my blog. Leave me a note letting me know that you are visiting from the Ladies Only Blog Share or #LOBS, either in the comments below or on whatever platform you’d like to connect on! I will happily follow you back…I really enjoy making new blog friends!

Time to get this party started!

Here’s the rules:

  • Follow your hosts/co-hosts
  • Visit at least 3 of the links and leave some comment love. Let them know you’re visiting from #LOBS. There are always great posts linked up, so there is definitely something for everyone!
  • Pin your blog post to the Ladies Only Blog Share Pinterest board. Make sure you place the link to your post in the URL field. The name field should contain the title of your post. If you’re new and need an invite to the board, let me know. Please give me your Pinterest URL because I need to follow you to add you to the board. I’d love a follow back as well!
  • We’d love it if you’d add our button to your post or to your sidebar (see my sidebar), and tweet our party! If you use my twitter handle @DishofDailyLife, I will be sure to RT you! Let’s all spread the word and make some new friends!

Not that you want anyone else to ever experience the miserable side of motherhood, but reading the stories of other moms (who have tales far worse than yours) does feel better, than thinking you're in this all alone! Congrats on the book!

Loved reading the book and reviewing it! As a mom of a boy, I'm not looking forward to the pranks he'll be pulling as a teen. Thanks for the entertaining story!
