Sometimes we spend too much time trying to get the “perfect shot” when simply documenting our journey through life would be better. Looking through our old photos with family, we reminisce…it’s fun to look back and re-live those memories. Our photos are FULL of family stories and treasured times. But it’s not usually that well composed “perfect” shot that we remember the most.
Today I am over at the Tamara Camera Blog talking about storytelling with your photos. Join me there for tips on how to focus on storytelling and create family photos that you will treasure for years to come!

Thanks for stopping by Fibro, Fit and Fab! and leaving a comment. I appreciate it. :)
Also, I totally think that photos should tell a story, and love the candid shots best. :) Photos capture moments and should take you to those moments. Nothing does that better than the unplanned snapshot. :) By the way, LOVE the picture!! I'm sure there's a great story in there about the cool fish or rock or whatever it is that they found. Or maybe it was a "If I touch the water, how far to you think my ripple will go?" type of thing? That's the cool thing about art - everyone can see it through their own eyes. :)

Your post was excellent! Definitely something people need to think about and be careful with. I have no idea what my niece is showing my daughter but I just loved how they looked so interested in whatever it was. My niece is very inquisitive and watchful and notices everything...its very cool!

None at all because my daughter broke my camera and my phone camera stopped working! :-( I've never been one to look for the perfect shot. I just snap away and hope for the best.
