Happy Friday everyone!!
I’m missing that 80 degree weather that I talked about last week…today it snowed. I want to know what happened to fall! So now we’re using the fireplace, and boots have officially become part of my wardrobe again. I do hope we go back to fall before winter actually descends on us. I’m not ready.
I’m also now officially in easy recipe mode. The school year is hectic enough…elaborate meals are not on the menu plan. To me, easy meals means soup, casseroles and crockpot. It doesn’t matter how long it takes to cook, but I want a minimum of prep work! So today, that is what I am sharing with you. I can’t wait to try these!
But first let me tell you about the Homemade Nachos I posted this week. They are fabulous for game day, of course, but there is no reason you can’t eat these for dinner! They’re packed with all sorts of healthy ingredients and your family will love you if you tell them they are having nachos for dinner! And these are so good, I promise you!!
And now, let’s talk about our features!
EASY RECIPES
From top to bottom, left to right:
Easy Meatball Parmesan Casserole from The Kitchen is My Playground
Creamy Potato Cheese Soup from Domestically Speaking
Slow Cooker Moroccan Pumpkin Chicken with Cauliflower “Couscous” from Vitamin Sunshine
Mexican Meatball Soup from Kitchen Dreaming
Spicy Black Bean Enchiladas from Analida’s Ethnic Kitchen
Sweet Potato Turkey Shepherd’s Pie from The Gracious Wife
Ready for the party?
We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.
1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.
2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!
3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.
4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up. I will try my best to show your post some extra love…please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it!
Let’s get this party started!
