#FoodieFriDIY no 92: Chicken

Sharing is caring!

TGIF! I am ready for the weekend already.

This is going to a short post because I am headed out for a 6 hour drive to pick up some of my college son’s stuff. He comes home next week, but I am traveling yet again next week and he can’t fit it all in his car. Thankfully my youngest son is on spring break right now and is coming with me! The drive would be so long without company.

I’ve been busy in the kitchen though as of late (watch for a bunch of Cinco de Mayo recipes…I don’t know if I can get them all on in time! One is already up though) so I thought I’d share a few recipes with you myself. If something catches your eye, I’d love it if you’d stop by. 🙂

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my Facebook page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

[Tweet “Increase your traffic, come party at #FoodieFriDIY! @dishofdailylife loves to SHARE!”]

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up…I will make sure to show your post some love on some form of social media! Please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it.

Let’s get this party started!

Little Cooking Tips

Friday 22nd of April 2016

USA has so many open roads, it must be a joy to drive and see new places:) We're not used to driving for many hours here in Greece, as the distances are much smaller (imagine adding Florida and Georgia together. That's about the size of Greece). Perhaps that's why audio books are so popular in the States, it makes sense, come to think of it:) Have a beautiful weekend ahead dear! xo

Michelle, both of my kids went to college 6 hours from home (different directions though!), and I made that drive many times..... and the loaded car drive many times! Isn't it odd how they arrive at school with only one car load and over time it multiplies like bunnies! My suggestion is an awesome book on cd (borrowed from the library). You would be amazed how quickly the trip goes with a great book to listen to! Drive safely. Thank you for hosting.

We moved him in with my husband's truck, but I won't drive it...too big for me! His stuff definitely multiplied though! I was lucky to have company this time around. :) That's a great idea on the book on CD.
