#FoodieFriDIY no 99: Side Dishes for your next BBQ

Sharing is caring!

School’s out for summer, and the kids are officially home. Two of them have jobs, which is great. Nothing like learning work ethic and having your own spending money! Now I’m just hoping for some sunny days. It’s been kind of chilly here.  The pool is open but no one wants to go in yet because of the weather!

We still have a couple more track meets, and we have family coming to visit. It’s going to busy around here…but fun busy!

So let’s talk about my features, shall we? I can’t seem to get out of BBQ mode…maybe because I am anxious for the summer to actually get going? Anyway, that means you’re getting to check out some side dishes that I am excited to try!

#FoodieFriDIY no 99 Side dishes for your next BBQ

From top to bottom, left to right:

Cheddar, Corn and Bacon Salad from Family Food on the Table

Lemony Marinated Zucchini Salad from The Gluten Free Homestead

Shaved Asparagus Salad from Simply Fresh Dinners

Loaded Baked Potato Salad from Everyday Made Fresh

El Rancho Corn Salad from Miz Helen’s Country Cottage

Cucumber Melon Fruit Salad from Delightful E Made

If you would like to pin any of these, please visit the post itself and pin it from there as that is where the recipe lives!

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my Facebook page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

[Tweet “Increase your traffic, come party at #FoodieFriDIY! @dishofdailylife loves to SHARE!”]

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up. I will try my best to show your post some extra love…please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it!

Let’s get this party started!

Thanks for the feature, Michelle! I'm anxious for decent summer weather too. One day it's in the 90's and the next day is freezing cold. Crazy! Have a great summer :)
