Welcome back to Foodie Fridays! This is the place to share your best recipes, and find new ones to try!
We’re continuing to grow…almost 250 link ups last week! Thank you all for sharing your wonderful recipes!
We go live on Thursday evening at 9 PM EST, but we are making a change going forward. The link party will now close at midnight on Sunday to give us more time to share as many of your wonderful recipes as we possibly can.
I do have to tell you this past week I ran into some unexpected issues, and I wasn’t able to comment on or share as many of your recipes as I usually do. I did share everyone who left me the name or number of the recipe that they linked up.
Going forward, I am going to ask that you leave me the number of the recipe you linked up in the comment section below. If you do, I promise you will get a shout out on some form of social media.
You’ll notice that we always have features as well from the previous week.
If you’re featured, you’ll get even more shout outs!
However, I do try to share as many recipes as possible, regardless of whether or not you are featured, so you may find your post stumbled, or shared on Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest on either my personal boards or group boards I belong to. Watch for the hashtag #FoodieFridays to see what we are sharing!
Of course, we also pin EVERY recipe that gets linked up to the Foodie Fridays board, so please feel free to share your favorite recipes (limit of 3) from your blog each week.
We’d really love it if you’d help us spread the word too! Tweet us. Share another recipe from the link up and add the hashtag #FoodieFridays. Let’s build a community here!

Before we get started, I want to share with you a change on Facebook that I came across this week. I know a lot of you schedule some of your posts on Facebook. Facebook is rolling out some changes to post scheduling. If your scheduling clock has disappeared, this little Facebook tip may save you a little frustration. And if it hasn’t disappeared, you’ll know what to do when it does!
Our top clicked post this week was this delicious looking Caramel Apple Layer Cake from Stephie Cooks! It’s easy to see why!
There were so many great recipes this week it was hard to choose! But sometimes I get in a rut with dinner ideas, so I went with a few recipes that I’d really like to try.
From top to bottom, left to right:
Steak and Scallion Rice Cake Stir Fry from Woks of Life
Great White (Corn) Fish Tacos from Kirsten Oliphant
Roasted Rosemary Pork Chops with Honey Mustard Cream Sauce from Blogghetti
Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza from Del’s Cooking Twist
Stuffed Poblanos from Miz Helen’s Country Cottage
As always, if you’d like to pin any of these features, PLEASE remember to click through to the site where the recipe actually lives and pin from there!
The rules are simple!
Link up your favorite recipes from your own blog. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe. It will not be pinned and it may very well be deleted.
Please make sure you are linking up new recipes every week. We’re continuing to have duplicates linked up. We want to share as many posts as possible on social media, but it makes it difficult for us if we’ve already done so. We do notice. Often times we’ve commented on the post already. Please try to be conscious and considerate of this rule. Duplicate posts won’t be pinned a second time, and again, we reserve the right to delete them from the link up. Also, no link parties, please, even if they are related to food. Thank you for understanding, and if you’ve done it by accident, no worries!
Share the party so others can join the fun. Tweet us or share us on Facebook. We would truly be grateful! Use the hashtag #FoodieFridays.
Please visit at least 2-3 links and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFridays…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.
If you’d like to include our button on your sidebar or your link party page, or even a link back on the individual post you linked up, we’d love it, but there is no requirement to do so.
We’d love to connect with you on social media, but again, it is not a requirement of the party. If you’d like to check out our Pinterest boards though, we think you might find some great pins though!

I totally got lost along the way but my original thought was just about that caramel layer cake. THAT is spectacular. And yet again, I have about 20 links open to pin. And I'm so hungry now.
