Happy Friday!

It’s hard to believe we’re almost to October! The weather is changing here, and some of the leaves have even started to turn color. Fall is officially here! It seems like apples and pumpkins are on my mind these days.

We have a lot of great local apple orchards. To me, there is nothing better than a freshly picked apple with that crunchy crispness and that sweet taste. We used to go apple picking a lot this time of year when the kids were younger…now it seems like our weekends become occupied with sports and other activities. But I always make a point of buying them at the farmer’s market if I don’t get to go picking. They really are such a treat.

The pumpkin patches are a lot of fun this time of year too. And pumpkin desserts…well, they are not to be missed! I think you are going to love this collection from last week’s FoodieFriDIY…I can’t even tell you how hard it was to decide on which recipes to feature! There were so many good ones! So if you are looking for more, feel free to go back to last week’s link up…you will find a ton of great fall desserts!

Since we’re going down the pumpkin road today, I’ll share with you some yummy Pumpkin Muffins with Pumpkin Spice Coffee Glaze that I made the other day with you too!

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow us on Pinterest.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up. I will try my best to show your post some extra love…please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it!

Let’s get this party started!
