This week I came across a couple interesting posts that I’d love to share with you. They’re both thought provoking, although in different ways.
Moms are often the primary picture taker in the family, and seldom in any of the photos. The “mom” portion of our life is, for most of us sadly, barely documented. I saw myself in this post, and I think you will probably see yourself as well. Making sure we’re in some of the pictures is a simple gift we can give our children. Our children need these memories….those photos showing us with our families, doing the activities we love together. I encourage you to read this article, and have someone else take the picture once in a while!
Your Old Pictures on The Internet Are Going to Be Deleted
We tend to think of the internet as forever, but the reality is our photos are stored with companies. Companies can go out of business, they can change their focus…these are good reasons not to count on any one source for your photo storage. If you do, you could lose those precious photos of your child’s first year, your parent’s 50th wedding celebration, or other important events in your life. This post is eye opening!
