I am so ready for the warm weather! The pool is open, our tent is up, and my husband has been busy putting a few finishing touches on the outdoor kitchen he added to our backyard last year.

I was hoping to share the entire outdoor kitchen DIY with you this year, but the computer that had all the pictures of the process on it crashed. We thought we had everything backed up, but the backup didn’t actually work properly. I’m kicking myself for assuming it was there and not double checking it. My husband’s cousin is working on trying to get the photos off, but they may be gone for good.

We joke that it’s the only time of year that we entertain, but it’s mostly true. We’re not running around as much with the kids’ sports seasons, and things tend to slow down over the summer. It’s easier to relax.
