Game Day Appetizers at #FoodieFriDIY no 30

Welcome back to #FoodieFriDIY!  We like to think this is one of the best places to share your favorite recipes and DIY projects, as well as find new ones to try!

If you missed joining us last week, we announced some big changes.

We’re now accepting DIY (including crafts and tutorials) as well. We’re still working on a new button…stay tuned for that.

We also now have a Group Board for our participants. You are welcome to pin anything you share with us at the party, as well as up to 10 posts a day. They do need to be food or DIY related though (crafts, tutorials, and organizing is fine).  The rules are listed on the board…they’re all pretty standard.

Follow A Dish of Daily Life / Michelle Nahom’s board Foodie Fridays and DIY on Pinterest.

If you’d like to be added, please follow the board above, as well as all of the hosts of this party (see below). Then send me an email at [email protected] with Requesting Invite – Foodie Fridays and DIY Group Board in the subject line.

Michelle at A Dish of Daily Life

Christie at A Kitchen Hoor

Mila at Girl and the Kitchen

Petro at The Seaman Mom

Christine at Curried Cantaloupe

Jenny at Honey & Birch

Your hosts will now be pinning both their features and faves each week to a separate board. Because many of us go with a theme, some of our favorites get left out. But not anymore! To see what we’re pinning, follow along!

Follow A Dish of Daily Life / Michelle Nahom’s board Features and Faves @ Foodie Fridays / DIY on Pinterest.

We also now have a Facebook Community. This is a place you can promote your recipes and projects, and we’re offering multiple boosting threads a week. If you are interested in joining us, please request an invite here.  Foodie Fridays and DIY Boost Group

I will still continue to promote you in the same way I have been, by sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, G+, Yummly, and StumbleUpon. If you stop by my Facebook page with one of your recipes or DIY projects that you linked up at the party, I will guarantee a share of that link on some form of social media.

My features and faves will get even more special attention with even more shout outs and shares to some of my favorite group boards as well.

If you like this party, we’d really love it if you’d help us spread the word! It has grown tremendously over the last few months and we know we have YOU to thank! Tweet us. Share another recipe or project from the link up and add the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY. Let’s build a community here!

[Tweet “Link up your #recipes and #DIY at #FoodieFriDIY! @adishofdailylife loves to SHARE!”]

Now for my features!

I love small bites…I could eat them instead of meals every day. And once again, there were so many great game day appetizers linked up again this week that I couldn’t resist featuring appetizers again. It was hard to choose. We have some amazing food bloggers linking up with us! I’ll be pinning a lot more to the features and faves group board.

Game Day Appetizers...you'll be the hit of the party with these great recipes!

From top to bottom, left to right:

Salt & Vinegar Wings from The Lou Lou Girls

Garlicky Lemon Cuban Chicken Wings from Three Beans on a String

The Bestest Best Queso of Them All from Erica’s Recipes

Baked Sun Dried Tomato and Spinach Chicken Parmesan Meatballs from I Thee Cook

Cherry Tomato Bruschetta from Europe’s Calling

Teriyaki Chicken Skewers from Culinary Ginger

Homemade Mozzarella Sticks from The Cottage Market

Slow Cooker Sweet & Sour Meatballs from Joy Love Food

As always, if you’d like to pin this game day party food collection, feel free, but if you’d like to pin an individual recipe, please visit the blog where it lives and pin it from there!

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial; and we would appreciate you linking up different posts week to week …we reserve the right to delete duplicates.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun!

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFridaysDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. If you’d like to include our button on your sidebar or your link party page, or even a link back on the individual post you linked up, we’d love it, but again, there is no requirement to do so.

And now for the party!

Ah, I missed Foodie Fridays! And this is timely because I just got invited to a Super Bowl party minutes ago and I was wondering what to make. The meatballs are top contender! And the homemade mozzarella sticks.

I'm excited to be linking up a recipe for the first time! (By the way, I reread your post on food photography tips before I took my photos for my post. I still have a ways to go, but I think they came out much better than any recipe posts I've done in the past!)
