Get Ready for Summer with Keurig and Brew Over Ice

Recently I attended the SITS Girls Bloggy Boot Camp in Charlotte; Brew Over Ice was a sponsor there. What a treat it was to have delicious refreshing drinks throughout the conference!!  When I was offered the chance to try out a Keurig coffee system and the Brew Over Ice K Cups at home, I was thrilled! (Jump for joy excited!!)

We live by the pool in the summertime, and it’s so nice to be able to enjoy a cool drink when it’s hot outside! With the Brew Over Ice K cups, you brew hot, but enjoy cold! I can make all my favorite drinks! I love the Snapple Lemon and Raspberry Ice Teas, the Vitamin Burst flavors, the Green Mountain Naturals Lemonade, and the Celestial Seasonings Southern Sweet Tea! If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be the Strawberry Pomegranate Vitamin Burst, but the Southern Sweet Tea would be a close second.

There are so many choices of different coffees as well. And of course with coffee and tea, you have the option of making an ice version or hot. While I don’t want to think about the winter months right now, I do drink a lot of hot tea when the weather is chilly. I love the fact that I can use my new Keurig to make hot tea AND hot cocoa in addition to coffee when the weather turns cold!

Using the K Cups is very easy! All you have to do is fill an insulated cup with ice and place a Brew Over Ice K Cup of your choice into your Keurig Brewer. Choose the 6 or the 8 oz setting (I usually use the 8 oz), wait for it to brew, stir, and you are all set. An icy cold drink at the touch of a button!

You can find K Cups online or in your neighborhood grocery or retail store, or you can purchase directly from Keurig as well. There are discount buying clubs that you can take advantage of, and great specials from time to time too!

I’m looking forward to enjoying my new Keurig brewing system and Brew Over Ice all summer long as I lounge by the pool. I know that is a little wishful thinking on my part, but a girl can dream, can’t she?! I will be working outside as much as possible though…have laptop, will travel (at least to under the umbrella)!
