Our Ladies Only Blog Share Link Party is back! With Memorial Day coming up, we thought we’d take some time to focus on remembrance. Please take some time this weekend to remember the men and women who gave their lives to protect our freedoms. With that in mind, our theme this week is “Remember When.” Last week I wrote a post on Celebrating a Life with a Tribute Album, which was about a military memoir created for a WWII airman. Your post need not be military related, but it should be one of your older posts that you’d like to go back and revisit…perhaps a fond memory?
This time we’ve joined up with a couple more co-hosts as well! Welcome Tamara and Janet! Be sure to bookmark or RSS feed your hosts and co-hosts’ blogs and visit them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, etc….wherever you’d like to connect! We will all gladly return the favor!
I’ve been feeling a bit sentimental this week, so you probably won’t be surprised at the blog posts that I want to share. Here they are (in no particular order):
This post from Deirdre at JDaniel4’s Mom, made me cry. Four Children’s Prayers for their Fathers shares a wonderful message…a must read for anyone with children at home!
Dana from Kiss My List wrote That Old Lady is Going to Be Me One Day, a post that really makes you think about aging. I won’t say any more because again, this is a post everyone should read….after all, that old lady WILL be us someday.
I also really enjoyed the parenting insights from Lisa at Flown and Grown in What Was I Thinking? It’s an interesting discussion about how we as a society today differ in parenting styles from the days of our parents…definitely worth a read!
Let’s get started! Have fun and visit the links below. We do have a few simple requests….
We do ask that you try to visit at least three. Remember to leave a thoughtful comment on the new blogs you’ve discovered and let them know you’re visiting from the Ladies Only Blog Share Link Party! Feel free to pin your blog post to the Ladies Only Blog Share Pinterest board, too! Place the link to your post in the URL field. The name field should contain the title of your post.
Last week we added a fun little optional way to share and grow your community and meet some new people and we’re going to continue with it this week as well! On Friday, we’ll have a comment chain on A Dish of Daily Life’s Facebook page specifically for our Remember When posts. Here are the rules: If you choose to post here, you need to comment on the two blog posts directly in front of you. That way each post receives 2 comments, and hopefully you will meet someone new as well! You can of course comment on others too! The person who is first on the comment chain should circle back and comment on the last person in the comment chain on Friday night, and can pick whoever they want to comment on for their second person. You can participate on multiple days. The goal is more comment love! Mommifried will host the comment chain on Saturday, and WriterMom’s Blog on Sunday.

Hope the last day of school was good! My oldest is out this week and the other two still have another few weeks. I'm a bit behind right now, but catching up slowly!
