The Wonders of Fall: Ladies Only Blog Share {Link Party}

Welcome back! It’s time for another edition of our Ladies Only Blog Share Link Party! This week we’re celebrating the wonders of fall…the sights and sounds and scents, from fall photography to fun fall events to those fall recipes we look forward to, like butternut squash soup! For me, one of the things the fall season ushers in, is the appearance of soup on the dinner table! I love one pot meals, and soup is perfect for taking the chill off!  The other night we tried a Loaded Baked Potato Soup from Singing in the Rain.  It was amazing! This one is going to be gracing the dinner table a lot this fall!

This is also the time of year I start to think about holiday gifts. I love to make photo gifts because typically we take photos of our favorite memories and what better way to enjoy those memories than to have them where you can look at them every day?! So then when I saw this  Silhouette Giveaway and Glass Etching Promotion from PinkWhen, the wheels started turning! Could I do a photo transfer onto glass and then etch? Wouldn’t that be cool?! So I am sharing it with you too. You’re welcome! Now you’re all going to go enter, and my chances will get smaller. But I’m too nice to not share!

One of the most amazing posts I read this week was from a guy blog friend, Eli from Coach Daddy. Now I know this says Ladies Only Blog Share, but fall is the season of giving and his post Food for Thought: Sometimes You’re the Helper, and Sometimes, You Need the Help will resonate. You will reflect, you may feel thankful for what you do have, and your heart will ache for those who are struggling. This post will be with me for a long time. Thank you, Eli.

Something that has been weighing on my mind a lot lately that really has nothing to do with fall is the fact that my oldest son will soon be driving. And of course, I worry. Just one of the many things that I worry about is texting while driving.  So when I came across Stefanie Mullen’s Teens, Texting and Driving = Lethal in my bloglovin feed the other day, it really hit home. I definitely want one of those OBD devices for peace of mind!
