The weekend went fast! Last night I sat down trying to plan our menu for the week and ended up spending the whole time pinning recipes from the Deen Brothers website. Years ago, on a trip to Savannah, I had the opportunity to take a cooking class with Paula Deen, and met Paula, as well as her two sons. I have been a fan ever since!
Monday: Chunky Shrimp Bisque & Green Salad: I’ve made this recipe before and it has turned out to be one of my kids’ favorites. The last time I made it I added other types of seafood…I think this time I will do the same. Either way, its delicious!
Tuesday: Spaghetti Casserole with Baked Garlic Herb Bread, Green Salad, Pan Fried Squash: I used to make something similar to this in college…we called it Spaghetti Pie. This looks like a comfort food the kids will like!
Wednesday: The Deen Bros Herb-Rubbed Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Roasted Potatoes, Sauteed Spinach
Thursday: Baked Mac and Cheese, Green Beans: Another comfort food dish…I haven’t had a lot of luck with the kids liking baked mac and cheese recipes. Hoping this one is a winner! It sure looks good!
