Party Time at #FoodieFriDIY no 44

#FoodieFriDIY

Happy Friday!

I so enjoy this time of the week because I get to see what you all have been up to in the kitchen and with your DIY projects.

One of my goals is to start doing more DIY. I used to do a fair amount of DIY with my husband but as the kids got older and life got busier, I got away from it.

One of my non blogger friends makes the coolest DIY projects, and the other day she sent me a picture of her new outdoor pallet-bluestone serving station…I was in awe. One of these days I am going to convince her to let me go over there and take pictures while she is creating one of these amazing projects so I can share it with you. I keep telling her she needs to blog. Maybe I can convince her to be a guest here at A Dish of Daily Life. She is quite talented.

In the meantime, however, I’ll just keep cooking.

I’d love it if you could share our party on Facebook or Twitter. The party should also be up on my Facebook page and you can share from there if you’d like as well.

Don’t forget after you get done linking up to drop by my Facebook page and share your favorite recipes or DIY project that you have linked up…I will make sure to show your post some love on some form of social media! Please be sure to share either the link or the number in the link up so it’s easy for me to find it.

As I mentioned last week, I really wanted to do a Cinco de Mayo roundup this week. But I have so many recipes to share that I decided it needed to be a separate post.

I hope you will stop by HERE after you link up and get some fabulous Cinco de Mayo menu planning ideas. Many of you are featured there (the collection lives on Mode) and if you can help me promote it, I would greatly appreciate it!

55 Cinco de Mayo Recipes for a Rockin' Fiesta, Mexican recipes

Ready for the party?

We’re not really a rules-type party. But here’s what we do ask.

1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.

2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook. However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!

3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.

4. We’d love it if you’d follow your party hosts on Pinterest.

And now for the party!
